2006 Yamaha Rhino 660

What I've worked on

2006 Yamaha rhino

This machine was sitting for a couple years. The machine would never start correctly. Then it would not even start. So i put in a new air filter changed the oil. Then I changed the coil pack and the spark plug. I also put a new battery in. It was turning over now but would not start. I tried that last thing cleaning the carburetor that did nothing. I researched the problem why it was not getting fuel.

The fuel pump is garbage so i replaced that and it started right up. The suction piece was broken. This was very run down and there was no point in fixing it.

The breaks also did not work every time you tried to stop they would screech. The machine would not stop at all. I replaced the break pads the old ones were straight metal

Took it for a ride and they was some problems the bearings were shot. I took the rear wheels off the bearings would not spin. I replaced the knuckles. The bearings got pushed together at got so hot they welded together.

This is the only picture I have of it but this is the finished product

  2. Interesting. I've never repaired any machine, but if I had too, you seem like a very insightful person to ask.
